What Chaos Looks Like

As a team, we focus on improving as individual players, making each other look good on the field, playing hard, demonstrating respect, and growing our love for the game of soccer. And we hope to win games while we’re at it! We believe our parents, grandparents, siblings, and biggest fans are also part of our team, so together, we strive to create a culture where we support one another on and off the field.

Get to Know the Coaches

Coaching Chaos is a family endeavor. Head coach Lindsay de Bien played soccer during the early years of CAYS and at Carlisle High School. Her husband, Tanner de Bien, is an assistant coach who has been playing soccer for 35+ years and continues to play multiple times a week. Assistant coach Bill Hench (Coach GrampWall) played soccer at Messiah College, now Messiah University, and has coached youth soccer for many years and at various levels.

When these coaches aren’t on the field, you can find them doing marketing or reading (Lindsay), fixing computers or playing video games (Tanner), and selling houses or hunting (Bill). Having a relationship with God is important to all three, so you may also find them volunteering in various ways at their local churches.
