Strikeforce Head Coach Matt Stine

Matt is a Messiah College (now Messiah University) alumni and was privileged to play soccer for Messiah for two years (’88 & ’89) while there.  Although he can’t claim that he played on any of the numerous national championship teams (we did go Final Four my freshman year though), his time at Messiah provided some of the best experiences of his life, largely due to involvement in soccer.  In addition to playing soccer when Matt was younger and playing for Messiah, he has been blessed to be a soccer coach for both boys and girls at various level for schools, clubs (rec and travel), and camps for more than 35 years.  Outside of soccer, Matt is a father of three wonderful girls (two of them now grown adults), who have all played soccer, and a Strategic and Management Consultant for the PA Insurance Commissioner.

Strikeforce Assistant Coach Corey Rumberger

Corey started playing soccer at 8 years old for HMMS in Mechanicsburg and CASA. He went on to play for Cumberland Valley High School and then at the University of Mary Washington.  After college, Corey moved back home and opened the Brusters’s Ice Cream in Carlisle. Corey has three kids who all enjoy playing in the CAYS soccer program.
