Cyclones Head Coach Seth Ryan

Coach Seth grew up playing soccer since the age of 5, while he did not play in high school or college, his passion for the sport never diminished. Coach Seth reengaged with the sport when his oldest daughter started playing and now his youngest plays as well. Coach Seth started as a volunteer coach in 2018 for BSYSA, then moved to CAYS in 2019 where he coached recreational soccer for 2 seasons. Since then, Coach Seth has been a travel soccer coach for the past 10 seasons for D1, D2, and D3 teams. Coach Seth’s coaching philosophy is based on building on each player’s strengths, creating a team atmosphere, and focusing on individual and team growth both on and off the field.

 

Cyclones Assistant Coach Ian Hanford

Coach Ian played soccer from the age of 5 through high school. He coached youth recreational soccer for two years and has been a coach with the Cyclones since 2023. Coach Ian’s philosophy revolves around teaching basic skills, confident decision-making, proper positioning/spacing on the field, and playing an intelligent, team-oriented game while working hard, having fun, and promoting an inclusive team atmosphere on and off the field.
